HAPPENINGS AT LEXINGTON. Lexington, Ky., Xovcmber 23. E. R. Bradley and wife arrived from the east today and -will lie at Idle Hour Stock Farm for about a month. Trainer Hurley is now engaged in the selection of a string for racing at Xew Orleans. James McDonald, superintendent of W. OB. Macdonoughs Ormondale Stud in California is here ! to attend the sales. The suit of Mrs. E. O. Pepper, under the name of the Mcadowthorpe Stud, against Scott Hudsou, praying for ?25,00O damages and alleging failure to carry out agreements as to training and racing of a number of thoroughbreds, was dismissed in the Fayette Circuit Court today. The matter was set tied out of court and each party is to pay its own costs. Phil T. Chinn tonight decided to delay his departure for Los Angeles until after the sales next week, lie received a telegram from La Junta, Col., this afternoon, announcing that his string of horses from Xew York to Arcadia are shipping in fine condition.
