Money Muss, after close and patient pursuit of Crestou Boy, came along aud made good with a rush at the end. Creston Boy rapidly overhauled tlir early leader and drew out on the last turn, seemed to he winning midway of the stretch, but succumbed finally. Bill Mayham, away poorly, steadily improved his position into a fast going third. Mcada, outclassed here, dropped back at the start but finished well and runs well in mud. Katie Crews set a tremendous early pace, but failed to stay. Reuben was always outrun. The winner was entered for 500; no bid. Overweights Bill Mayham, 4 pounds. Husky was badly outpaced in the early running, but got up and won going away at the end of a sensational stretch sprint. Dareington, after close pursuit of the leaders, drew out midway of the stretch and appeared the winner, but succumbed finally and is extra good. Altadice, from a Hying start, led under a pull to the far turn, where he was shut off and forced to pull up sharply and could never get up again. Albion II., always well up, held his own and ran a game race. All Alone broke slowly, but forged to the front on the turn and led by a wide gap to the stretch, then quit badly near the end. Caniipie, from a good start, was shullled back early, but closed up leisurely and drew out decisively in the stretch. AVillis Green steadily improved his position into a fast going second. AMntou, after forward pursuit of Taunt, forged into the lead on the last turn, but tired in the stretch. Taunt set the pace to the far turn, then tired and quit badly in the closing drive. St. Albans, shullled back at the start, made up ground throughout. Wimple showed early speed. The winner was entered for 500; no bid. Scratched 09G7S Nappa, 107; 71927 L. C. Ackerley, 104. San Alviso, luckily and forward ly i-laced, in the early running, drew out when straightened for 1 ii iu r.iid appeared the winner to the final sixteenth, but tired after being crowded in the closing strides. Ri d Leaf, crowded bavk at the start, but reserved within striking distance, moved up rapidly on the ia-siile in the last half and just failed to get up. Legatee, held at the post and virtually left, closed an iiu neiise gap and just failed to get up in a whirlwind finish. Proper broke poorly and was outpaced in the early running, but linished fast and ran a go;d race. Johnny Lyons, away poorly, ran out on the first torn, lien got to the lead and, after terrific and exhaustive pacemaking to the last furlong, tired. Pontotoc, suddenly and marvclously improved, established a quick lead and proceeded to successfully sprcadeagle his opponents. Martinmas, a very slow beginner, held forth far in the rear and finished with n belated cyclonic stretch rush. Fisher Boy, away badly, trailed far in the rear to the stretch and came on with a sensational stretch sprint. Nine Spot ran forwardly from the start and held on well to the Hid. Corrigan ran a poor race after beating the barrier, was unable to keei bis position and met with interference in the stretch. The winner was entered for 000; no bid. Arklirta trailed early, but moved up rapidly on the inside in the last half, found a lucky opening and drew out right at the end. Sugarmaid, skillfully reserved early, wore the leader down decisively in the stretch, but succumbed finally. Silver Stocking set a tremendous pace and only gave way after a game effort. Blondy, outpaced early, linished well and ran an extra good race. Cloudlight had no mishaps, could not keep up and quit at the end. Overweights Cloudlight, 1 pound.
