The question of transporting their horses from Ascot to the Santa Anita track has been puzzling trainers, as the two tracks are situated about twenty miles apart. The management of the new track has come to their assistance and proposes to make up a train of live cars and convey the horses by rail to the new track the latter part of the present week. Three trips will he made daily and it is thought that the transfer of all the horses can be made within two days.
