TO PROMOTE SOUTHERN RACING. The Virginia horsemen and breeders who are working for the passage of a bill to revive racing in that state have organized themselves under the name of the Virginia Breeders Corporation. R. .T. Hancock, Arthur Hancock, William Garth. Francis Trevelyan, W. L. Maupin, Robert Neville, Dr. James Kerr, H. T. Oxnard and H. G. Breckenridgc are among the most prominent members of the new organization. If these gentlemen succeed In establishing a racing circuit In Virginia next year they believe it will be of much encouragement to the horsemen of the Carolinas and Georgia in again establishing a racing circuit in those states.
