"FATHER BILL" DALYS JOCKEYS. "Father Bill" Daly Is depressed over his recent poor success as an owner of race horses, though he scored a time or two late this year. "But," says the sage of Hartford. "Ive been lucky over jockeys." In his day Daly has developed, such riders as James McLaughlin, the Lamleys, "Snapper" Garrison, Danny Maher. Winnie OConnor, Tommy Burns and his younger brother, Guy Burns, now riding successfully at Arcadia. OConnor and Maher, by the way, are cousins.
