A gray filly by Golden Maxim Gray Agnes, the 1m of Gossoon, is rugged, but quite well put together and has shown McLaughlin some speed. The bay filly by Kinlev Mack Lady Lindsey, recalls her dam very much. She is built on strong lines for a filly and stands close to sixteen hands. Alwiut the tallest filly seen out this season. The snlall but well made filly by Hastings, whose rtam McLaughlin could not give, has worked the front stretch at Gravesend in close to 23 seconds. She fs speedy looking. McLaughlin never likes to sell a horse which has won well for him, but it was surprising to find that ihc still has old First Whip, by Duke of Montrose, out of Theora. First Whip Is now ten years old nd has been standing at a farm on Long Island. JIcLaughlin intends to sell him, as lie cannot place him anywhere at present. Oxford.
