Meadowbreeze, from a lucky start and clear of interference, forced a fast pace for the first half an 1 wis shuffled back ju.t before rounding the stretch turn but, squeezing through a small opening, gained fast and got up in the last few strides. Tivolini. going wide throughout, closed a big gap in the last quarter and finished fast. Belle Strome, away slowly, had to go around the leaders and took the lead in the stretch, but tired near the end. Airship showed superior early speed and stayed well in the closing firive. Rappahannock came fast at the end. Sheen was prominent to the stretch. Judge Treen had a lough trip. Debar was squeezed out at the start. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Risk followed Donaldo close up until well straightened out for the stretch run. then, after a slight shaking up. he wore the latter down and won drawing clear. Donaldo. away fast, showed the most early speed and stayed gamely in the final drive. Fashion followed the two leaders closely and ran a good race. Ban-ridge had to overcome early interference and finished fast. Bitter Man was in trouble from the start and finished with a rush. Busy Boy was in close quarters most of the way and will show improvement. Helen Holland went wide most of the trip. Maria was knocked out of any chance soon after the start. Hyperion II.. in splendid form at present, wae restrained until on the stretch turn, where he dashed by Toy Boy and won with plenty in reserve. Toy Boy set a fast pace for a half, raced Arch Oldham into Slbiection and held on well in the closing drive, but was not good enough to beat the winner. Arch oidnam followed the winner closely to the stretch, but was tiring fast in the last furlong and barely bitted long enough to save third place. Handzarra was gaining at the end and would have been third in. a few more strides. Momentum, away in a tatigie and going wide throughout, finished fast. The Bear began slowlv and had to go wide.
