LEADING TRAINERS OF THE YEAR. Of the but little seen or known, but potential force in racing, the trainers, the greatest measure of success in all hut one way fell to James Rowe. trainer for James R. Keene. In one feature he did not excel but was not excelled. He sent the winners of seventy races to the post, and so did James Blute and F. Hanlon. such a tie being something unusual.
