Berry-m.-eu today consigned thirty-live head, the last of the harness horses at Elmendorf, to the Kentucky Sales Company and the spaee at tlie big farm will bo given over entirely to the thoroughbreds. Secretary W. K. Letcher said today that the Kentit ky Association will probably apply for ten days each for the spring and fall meetings. It will noi ask for less than seven. It is understood to be the policy of the State Racing Commission to limit the total number of days for the year in Kentucky to one hundred. Under the law. however. the commission is required to grant any licensed association "at least forty days in any year, if desired." • . No foals have been reported to date, but several are expected oefore the middle of the month at Elmendorf and McGrathiana. Amos Turney has forwarded to the officials at New Orloaiis the original contract on the services of jockey Lloyd, together with the agreement with J. H. B;iker that he. Turney, was to have the l* y wheuever called for. Turney says he intends to stop Lloyd from riding at New Orleans and will use him himself.
