Cyllene is thirteen years of age. and while at the btud he has got some of the finest thoroughbreds of the English turf. In all his get have won Mi races, the amount in stakes being 71. 2n~.. As a Jwo-year old Cyllene won the Aational Breeders 1roduce Stakes at Samlimn of S?2~.oOo. carrying ♦U.U pounds, and the Imperial Produce Stakes at Kemptou of ~.O00. He was not nominated for any of the three-year-old classics in ]v.»8. but won the Jockey Club Stakes of jt~o.O00. beating Airs and Graces, winner of tlie Oaks of that year.
