Toronto, Ont. Byron was entered, started and was beaten. Necessarily a bet o:i Byron lost. Byron is a three-year-old by Matchless — Athleta. Bryan is a six year-old by The Commoner — Ursula. The bettor has no claim to a draw on Byron, but it may be he thought that he was betting on Bryan, and named that horse in his her. If he did be would lie entitled to a draw. It depends on whether he named Bryan or not.
