PLANNING TO RACE AT BAKERSFIELD. Plans have been formed to hold a six-day meeting at Bakersfield. Cal.. after the close of the racing season at Santa Anita Park. Tlie parties promoting it have secured pledges from horsemen at Santa Anita to stop over there for the meeting if It has the approval of the Pacific Jockey Club.
