MILLIN TO RETIRE FROM RACING. San Francisco, Cal.. November 27. In order to 1 devote his entire attention to his breeding ventures. John D. Alillin has announced that he will sell every horse in his stable and retire from the turf as an owner. Millin has an extensive racing stable in training sit the Oakland track, and the other day arranged with Magrane and Tozer to conduct a paddock sale of bis fourteen head of horses on Saturday of next week. Besides the two-year-olds. Carrie Thatcher. Ocean Queen tind Caronia. and other older horses, Millin has what is regarded as the finest band of yearlings in training at the Oakland track, the get of his promising sire. Canard. Millin was formerly associated with the late Caesar Young, and has a line breeding farm near Sacramento.
