HAG GIN HORSES TO BE SENT TO FRANCE. Lexington. Ky., November 27. James B. Haggin is making preparations for shipment of eight carloads of Elmendorf thoroughbreds, principally mares, to France, Mr. Haggin has made an arrangement with II. Eugene Leigh to handle and dispose of tlteni. At the farm the fact that the horses are to 10 shioped during the coming week is all that is known. , , , Herman B. Dnryea today ordered that seven of his leven thoroughbreds now at Millstreani Stud he shipped at once to New York. The horses designated .vere Irish Lad. the mares Ascot Belle. Kavello II. and Monroe Doctrine, weanling colt by Adam Armenia; weanling filly by Adam Rabenstein, and yearling iilly by Irish Lad Kabenstoin. This will leave only the mare Eastern Shore, a two-year-old gelding, and the weanlings by Irish Lad. out of Census and St. Inez, belonging to Mr. Duryea in Ken tuclcv. The seven head will leave here tomorrow llong with the stallion Broomstick and the weanling Hllv hv him out of Audience, which were purchased it the Senorita Stud dispersal by Harry Payne Whitney. Broomstick goes to Brookdale Stud in New Jersey, but the destination of Duryeas horses is not known here. Colonel M. J. Winn came up from Louisville today and had a conference with Algernon Daingcrfield concerning the Mexican racing project. Nothing definite resulted. From Hot Springs. W. J. Young. J. C. Milam. V. L. Lewis and other local trainers have been given lo understand that they will not be risking a great deal bv shipping to Memphis to get ready for racing at Hot Springs shortly after the first of the year.
