RUMOR RACING CLUB MAY DISBAND. New Orleans. La.. November 27. The two local I jockey clubs realized it would be useless to try and conduct high-class meetings here this winter, things being as they are. and "passed" some time since. : It is now rumored that the Crescent City Jockey Club is going into liquidation, which means that the historic Fair Grounds track, upon which was spent over 00,000 in remodeling it last year, will I pass back to the Louisiana Association owning it t and may be cut into building lots. President Alex Brewster, asked in regard to the report replied I that no meeting had been called to decide what t would he done, however, and it may be some time before anything defiuite is accomplished.
