The stable did very well, although its aggregate earnings were less than its 9,S50 in 1907 and 0,9G0 in 1906. The good horse Monfort was the star of the stable and was first or second In seventeen races out of twenty-six. being unplaced but four times. Among his triumphs were the Saratoga Handicap. Thistle Stakes, Aqueduct Handicap and Stonybrook Stakes and he was in all respects a racer worthy of a place in any stable. Of three three-year-olds in the stable Falcada did best in the important matter of monev winning, but hardly ran np to the best promise of his two-year-old form. As a two-year-old Beaucoup once made the mighty Colin stretch his neck in earnest, but did nothing comparablv last year, although he paid his way respectably. Red River. Aletheuo. Alauda.
