MORE ARRIVALS AT EL PASO. El Paso. Tex., December 28. One of the largest Monday crowds ever seen here witnessed the races at "Washington Park this afternoon. The weather was warm and clear, the track fast and the card a gpod one, with few withdrawals. With the exception of one race, favorites swept the card. Long John and Miss Beaumonter furnished the most interesting contest of the day when the former triumphed over the latter by a short margin in the second Tace. H. L. Jones arrived with Lady Esther. Monsieur Beaucaire- and others. Paul Morris Is due to arrive, today witli twelve horses from Los Angeles. Jockey Morcland was Indefinitely suspended today for unsatisfactory riding. Jockey Singleton arrived today from Los Angeles and bis addition to the jockey list, which includes C. Henry. Shrlner. Otis. Hicks. L. Smith. Hobart. Moreland anil Muurpe. gives the horsemen another capable boy to ride their horses.
