NOTES OF THE TURF. S. C. nildreth has for the first time in his tm-f career passed the 00,000 mark as a winning owner. Jockey Murphy, riding at Savannah, was set down for three days for misbehavior at the post last Saturday. Six horses, the property of John E. Madden, in-cliiiling the two-year-old Lady Hubbard and four yearlings, have arrived at Santa Anita Park and will be under the care of Peter Wimmer. James Hutton sailed for France Saturday on the steamer Minneapolis with the recent purchases of Nash Turner. The shipment includes the broodmares Pronta, Gincttc and Massada and the green jumper, Paul Thomas. Clamor, which Was to represent Keene Bros, in the Christmas Handicap at Oakland, fell lame the morning of the race while being given light exorcise, which compelled his owner to scratch the colt irom the big race.
