THIRTY LEADING JOCKEYS. No great change in the standing of the jockeys is possible during the coming week, and the end of the year will find the riders in practically the same IHisitions they now occupy. J. Butler has a chance to move into seventh position, now held bv I. McCarthy, and there Is a possibility of changes below the eleventh and nineteenth positions, but Powers, of course, has a" cinch on first position. Shilling cannot lie deprived of second and Xotter is sure of third. V. Powers, at Santa Anita Park, made the best showing last week, riding nine winners. J. Butler, at Oakland, piloted eight, while C. II. Shilling, at Santa Anita Park, scored on six. The Kt-anding of tiie thirty leading jockeys- from January 1 to and including the racing of December 20. their percentages and races won the past week are as follows: Jockev. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp.
