JUDGE HAMILTON HANDS OUT FINES. Los Angeles. Cal.. December 2S. The racing here "today liordcred on the sensational. Two new American records were created, Chapultepec running six furlongs in 1:11. and Lady Inna live and a half furlongs in l:04i. There was no doubt about the authenticity of the time, as a number of owners caught, the two races iit exactly the same time as that posted by the timers. In lioth cases where the new records were made each horse had tilings his own way. Chapultepec led King James all the way and easily held him safe sill of the linal sixteenth. The latter stood a sharp last eighth drive with rare gameness. but it availed j hi nothing. Lady inna fairly spreadeagled the others in the last race, never leaving the result in doubt. The fast pace told on the favorite, Jane Swift, which swerved badly in the last sixteenth. Judge Hamilton handed down a decision in the R. F. Carman M. Dooley imbroglio today as follows: 11. F. Caiman, blacksmith F. Allers and trainer M. Dooley are lined 00 each under authority of rule 117 for disturbing the peace: It. F. Carman. Jr.. is lined 200 under authority of rule 155 for attempting to intimidate a bidder in a selling race. This- by order of the board of stewards. Jake tMarklein had on his bidding clothes today. After Pal won the race he bid him up from S00O to SHOO, and got him. The usual large Monday crowd was present and the lietting brisk and heavy, the lxiokmakers having much the worst of the days operations.
