FIELDS IMPROVING AT SAVANNAH. Savannah. Ga.. December 29. Burns will ride here and get himself in condition to fulfill his engagements in France, for which country he will leave after the close of this meeting. Jockey Dale was indefinitely suspended for his ride on Panique in the first Tace yesterday. The merchants of Savannah ate getting up a purse to be known as the Merchants Stakes. New horses are coming every day. ten arriving this morning, six from New Orleans and four from New York. -
