HOW MIN0RU GOT HIS JAPANESE NAME. Many correspondents have asked us the meaning of the name of the Derby favorite, his majestys Minoru. In reply to an inquiry. Colonel Hall Walker, who bred and named the eolt. very courteously inform u.s that "Minoru — pronounced Minn-or-oo — s the Japanese for Success.
