COURTIER BEST OF SEAGRAM ELIGIBLES. Kings Plate Candidate Comes from Family That Has Figured Prominently in Canadian Racing. Toronto. Ont.. May IS. — The big chestnut colt. Courtier, which at present appears to be the best of J. E. Seagrams six eligibles for the Kings Piate. was foaled at Waterloo, but he is not a son of any of the Waterloo sires. His dam. Sibyl, had been bred to Paladin when Mr. Seagram bought her at one of J. B. Haggius sales lour years ago and the foal was called Courtier.
