A filly out of Apple Blossom by Wroughton — Osis. by YVhackum. sold at the recent Johannesburg Agricultural Show for ,250. which is the record price for any yearling bred in South Africa. Abe Bailey and Sir George Farrar were keen bidders for the Illy, and the former was the purchaser. Other notable sales in connection with the show ranged from .oo to .50o.
