WINTERGBEEN MEETS WITH MISHAP. Louisville. Ky.. Mav 20.— J. B. Respess crack colt. Wintergreen. winner of the Kentucky Derby, anil supiiosedlv the host three-year-old In the west. is out of training for the present at least, and will not be a starter in the Latonia Derby, which he was supposed to have at his mercy prior to his defeat by Olamhala in the Derby Preliminary here yesterday. Wintergreen came out of the race iu such condition that it was Vith difficulty he could l e cooled out. The trouble was located in his right front leg. and is either a bowed tendon or ■ sprained Tinkle.
