PROMINENT PEOPLE INTERESTED. Salt Lake City. Utah. May 20— Incidental to the OIK aim of the Utah Jockey Clubs initial meeting on Sat unlay next, a Turf and Field Club has linen organized and will make much of the social side of racing in this community. A handsome clubhouse of the bungaloo type has been erected within the fair grounds enclosure for the exclusive use of the dab members and their friends, iovernor Spry Is honorary president of the club and its list of active officers is made up of prominent citizens of the slate, as follows: Lester I. Freed, president; lleber M. Wells, vice-president : Ezra Thompson, Samuel Newhoase, Gaa Holmes, a. J. Davis, c. a. Ouigley and EL B. Clark, governors. The clubhouse enclosure will have accommodations for fifty automobiles. The first race at the fair grounds is scheduled for two p. in. daily and the final race will be over by 4:20. Starter Richard Dwyer has arrived from San Fran cisco. _________
