TRANCE IN RATHER A BAD WAY. New York. Mav 20. — Trance. George Odoms crack filly, is in rather a bad way. The rupture of the endon sheath which made it necessary for Odosa to give up the notion of starting her in the Metropolitan Handicap, has proved to be rather a serious injury. Mom has not given up hope of getting her to the races again, but he fears that she mav not hereafter beat horses of the kind she trimmed last season.
