May 22.— Judge Joseph Murphv. who has been officiating in tlie stand here left tonight for I.atonii. where he lias been appointed associate judge for the meeting which opens there next Tuesday. Martin Nathanson. the wellknowu Chicago racing official, will replace Mr. Murphy as presiding judge here. Jockey Bettia; left for Toronto, where he will report to B. L. Thomas.
