SOCIETY OUT TO SEE AMATEURS RIDE. Norfolk. Va.. May 22. — Tlie races at Jann stow n were run in a drizzling rain, but a large attendance was present. The stellar attraction was the race for amateur riders. Fancy Bird, ridden bv D. Kerr, was returned an easy winner, witli Killoohaii. ridden by Joe Kelly, of Savannah, second, two lengths in front of Sparkles, ridden by I.. Garth. Stargowan fell lame ill the fourth ran and Lois Cayanagh, the favorite, lost her rider in the last.
