REAL ESTATE FOR RACE TRACK STOCK. San Francisco. Cal.. May 27.— Thomas H. Williams. president of the New California Jockey Club, has transferred to Colonel Dan Burns, formerly actively associated with him in tile management of racing affairs on the coast. :..oo:» acres of rich reclaimed delta land on Union Island in the Sim Joaquin river. The consideration is said to have been upwards of .~ii.HK and the deal is supposed to have some connection with the recent sab- of Burns holdings of New California Jockey Club stock to Williams. The latter inherited the Unlou Island property from his father. The land is very rich, and has been producing large crops. There has never been an inuiidatiou there and the returns from the crops have been uu usually large each season.
