UNSANCTIONED RACING AT TORONTO, Toronto. Int.. May 27.— An extended summer meet ing is planned for Duffertn Park, a local half mile track, following the close of the Woodbine meeting. Tie- meeting will be under the auspices of the York Hiding and Driving Club, which organ bait ion managed a fall meeting at the same track last year. The plans contemplate opening on Tuesday. June 8, The woodbine meeting will close June ."1. The purses will not be less than 00. with handicaps ranging in value From 1300 to 9560. Five carloads of horses arc expected from Jamestown to participate in the racing. It is claimed that already there are 1O0 horses on tin- grounds. Tip- meeting will be outside the pale of recognized racing in Canada, as the Canadian Racing Associations has already outlawed those horses, owner and jockeys who participated in last falls meeting at the same track.
