UTAH SPORTSMAN BECOMES RACING OWNER. Salt Lake City. Utah. May 27.— T. II. Fitzgerald of this city is the first Itali sportsman to eater racing in an 1 ill nail II wav as an owner. He bus purchased the entire racing stable of .1. B. Dunn, whose colors Platoon. Billy Bowlegs, Balfcl .mil Other horses have been carrying. Mr. FltageraM is a prominent clubman and well-to do sportsman who owns a stock ranch in the Utah Valley. He proposed to Dreed his newly acquired horses after they UUVe outlived their usefulness for racing purposes. The Utah Jockey Club has designated each Friday during the meeting as Ladles lav. upon which occasion the gentler sex will be admitted lice to the track.
