QUEEN VICTORIA FAVORED RACING. Victoria, the "Good Queen." held it among her official duties to concern herself with that which interested and entertained so great and Influential a number of her subjects. She maintained a success fill breeding establishment, from which came ■OHM of the most famous names on the British turf. Always so long as her health permitted, she attended, in state, the racing at Ascot, the Royal Windsor meeting, and elsewhere, and was delighted when her home-bred horses triumphed, the climax being reached when the heir to the throne won the Derby twice with the wonderful brothers.
