SOCIETY ADOPTS SALT LAKE RACING. Salt Lake City. Utah. June 3.— The first social function in connection with the current meeting of the Utah Jockev Club is scheduled for tomorrow, when the club will entertain many prominent citizens at the races. If lip can arrange his affairs conveniently. Governor William Sprv will be present, while the Turf and Field Club will be out for tlie occasion. Hundreds of Salt Ijikers interested in the progress of the city and the development of its natural attractions to the outside world, will avail themselves of this opportunity to lend countenance and encouragement to the Itah Jockey Club. The acceptances to the Invited list have been numerous, presaging a brilliant gathering.
