ROCK SAND AND ADAM YEARLINGS. New York. July 1. The yearlings that will be sent into tlie sales ring from August Belmonts Nursery Stud this season number fourteen. Included in the consignment is Big Bock, a chestnut colt hillock Sand Bivouac. The others are by Hastings and Octagon. The sale will take place next Mondav at the Fasig-Tipton Co.s Shecpshead Bay paddocks, and the iprice that the Uock Sand youngster will command lends more than ordinary interest to it. Rock Sand is the stallion that August Belmont imported from England in 1000 at an expense of 25.-000 to head his stud. The horse came to this country with the prestige of having taken the "Triple Crown" in England, having boon one of the few to win the Two Thousand Gninens. the Derby and tlie St. Leger. His first crop of foals, will race next year, and the one to be offered at the Nursery Stud sale is likewise the first foal of Bivouac, a sister to Mr. Belmonts good race mare. ISlandy. This will be the first of the progeny of that noted French horse offered in this country. Adams first crop of youngsters were shipped to France last year on account of the depression in the American market, and commanded good prices in the country where their sires achievements were best known and appreciated.
