CHERRY0LA AND HER PROGENITORS. Saratoga. N. Y., August 5. Cherryola. J. T. Irelands good two-year-old lilly by Tanzmeister Last Cherry, was bred at Itaceland Stud bv Catesbv Woodford, who still has an interest in her. Her sire, Tanzmeister, was a son of Saraband and Miz-pah, and Last Cherry, her dam. was a daughter of Hindoo and Cherry Rlossoni. Last Cherry was the medium of a betting coup the first time she started in which Mr. Woodford and his friends cleaned up handsomely. Mr. Woodford retired Last Cherry early, because she became sour, whimsical and unreliable. Tanzmeister was mated with her when she was a three-year-old, and Cherryola was her first foal. Cherryola seems to have inherited some of Last Cherrys temper, for she has shown an unmly disposition at the post in her various starts. Tanzmeister, her sire, was imported by II. Eugene Leigh when he forsook training for breeding years ago.
