OLAMBALA WELL THOUGHT OF IN EAST. Saratoga. N. Y.. August 5. Richard T. Wilson. .Jr.. was among the many who criticised the ride iiockev Nicol gave his three-year-old. Olambala. .11 !the Saratoga Handicap. But he was far from dissatisfied with the performance of the colt. After the finish of the race Olr. Wilson said: I do not believe that I have in Olambala as good a horse as I had a few years ago in The Parader. beaten in the Saratoga Handicap of 1901 by Rockton. Water Color and one or two other horses. And it is Improbable that Olambala may beat I itz Herbert, the colt that took his measure in the Lawrence Realization. But do lielleve that Olambala is the second hest three-vear-old of the season, and I predict that .he will make a record as a four-year-old if he has ""itls geneVallr conceded that the Ornus colt is one of the stars of the -season, and he will have a following when he tackles Fitz Herbert and King Jiiuies in the Sartoga Cup. a wclght-for-age rate, at one mile and three-iuarters. to bo run on the closing day of the Saratoga meeting. It is the intention of Mr. Wilson to nominate Olambala for all the good distance races to lie. run at Sheepshead Bay. Gravesend and Belmont Park in the fall.
