Gal- vesca, from an outer position, was rushed right to the front and, maintaining her speed well, held Inflection safe for the entire trip. Inflection, away forwardly, was slightly impeded by Galvesca during the early running, but finished fast and gamely. Banives was forced back at the start and came fast at the end. Laveno ran fairly well only. Kid was prominent for the first quarter, but had to be taken back to keep from going down when he was crowded. The winner was entered for ,200; no bid. Hanbridge, much the best, was raced into exhaustion in close contention with John A. and gave way in the final strides. John A. raced forwardly and gamely throughout. Tom Hay-ward showed improvement and is rounding into good "form. First Premium had no mishaps. Tourenne and Martin Doyle ran below their best form. Scratched S3905W. A. Billy Bodemer ran well, l.ut was subjected to much interference in the last furlong. Plume was knocked back soon after the start and closed a big gap. Beatrice K. quit after going a quarter. Reidmoore was prominent for the entire trip and ran a fast and game race. Malediction stood the final drive gamely, but was tiring fast. Red Hussar legan slowiv and was going fastest at the end.
