INNOVATION PROPOSED AT SARATOGA. Saratoga. N.. Y.. August 0. In order to avoid much of the gossip which invests the bidding up of a winner in a selling race, officials of the Saratoga Association are now discussing a plan to sell all such winners in the paddock. At present, at tlu Saratoga track, the space just around the judges stand is too small and restricted for a crowd such as now daily assembles after eacli selling race. There is some difference of opinion as to the merit of the proposed innoration. but it may lie tried. More than ,350 has been realized for the racing fund in run-up money In six days at this meeting. Up to date the sport here lias been higli class, fulfilling to the letter the promises of the management that the meeting will exceed all that preceded it. So many evenly matched contenders In so many races were never before seen at Saratoga, and seldom at any jockey club track. .
