BUTTE RACING STATISTICS. The Butte Jockey Clubs summer meeting, which opened at Butte. Mont.. July 3 and came to an end Saturday. August 7. embraced thirty racing davs, during which time 210 races were decided. The total distribution iu purses was 0,370. in which ION owners shared, 55 winning 00 or more each. P 7 Notwithstanding that the class of horses in action compared favorably with those of preceding meetings, only .three track records were reduced. All three were at the shorter distances. Lytu Knight an exceedingly fast horse, made a new record of 46$ for a half mile. Meddling Hannah reduced the mark for live-eighths of a mile to 59 J and La Gloria established the record for six and a half furlongs at 1:19.
