FRENCHMANS OPINION OF OUR RACING. Saratoga, X. Y., August 12. Count Guillaumo de Ganay. brother of the Marquis de Ganay. who is one of the leading members of the French Jockey Club, was an interested spectator of the races here yesterday. "I think the American plan of excluding crowds from the inlield is superior to the continental way of doing things." lie said. "The public gets a much better view of the entire race than abroad. As for your horses. I think the stake horses are equal in class to those of Franco and England, but what you call your selling platers seem to be inferior on the average to those seen abroad. As for the betting systems I much prefer the American way to the pari-miituels."
