WOODFORD CLAY WILLING FOR MATCH. Saratoga. N. Y.. August 12. Woodford Clay lias expressed a willingness to match Ocean Hound against Waldo, or anv other two-year-old. after the running of the Futurity, which he is hopeful of winning with the daughter of Star Shoot Flying Ship. Nothing, however, will bo permitted to interfere with the starting of tlio Star Shoot lilly in the great two-vear-old event at Slieepsliead Hay. She will be pointed for the Futurity as soon as she is through witli the Hopeful, in which she will start Saturday. There was some talk of a possible sale of Waldo to James E. Gaffney. Hut it is improbable that .Mr. Harrison will part with Waldo. Ho is getting a stud together and be will put Waldo at the bead of it when the Pianudes colt "Is through with racing.
