RUNNING RACES AT LEXINGTON. Lexington, Ky., August 12. Two running races wore given in connection with the Hlue Grass Fair tins afternoon. In the first race. Darling Florence was carried into the fence by Ransack just after the start and jockey W. Rrooks. the rider of Darling Florence, was thrown olT. His left thigh was . badly lacerated. The summaries: First Race Purse 00. for 3-year-olds and upward, 3-4 of a mile. A. R. Lowes Rowland. 104 Franklip 1 T. M. Irvins Autumn Rose. 102 Green 2 T. Taylors Ransack. 10! Glass 3 Time. 1:151. Granny Dismal. Ethel W.. Friend Virgil. Samaria. Congalla and LMiriha also ran. Darling Florence fell. Second Race Purse 00, for 2-year-olds and upward, three-quarters of a mile: Walter Graters Ethelda, 105 Franklin 1 T. M. Irvins Meadowgrass, 107 Thomas 2 W. T. Sellers Huena Vista. 107 Denny 3 Time. 1:14 J. Silver Sea, Dear Maria, Sllvefite and Frances Friar also ran.
