GOOD PROGRESS ON JUAREZ PLANT. Xew York. September 0. J. G. Follansbee. just returned from Juarez. Mexico, where he -spent the month or August witli Matt Winn, says the construction work of the new race track there is half completed, and that everything is working as smoothly as possible. He is much impressed with the outlook and says the track will be one of the finest in the country. The local people on both sides of the river are taking great interest in the approaching racing. The city government of Juarez lias condemned property for the purpose of building a boulevard one hundred feet wide, from the end of the bridge which connects Juarez with EI Paso, direct to tlie .track. No expense will be spared to make this boulevard tlie equal of any driveway to be found anvwhere. Before the arrival of Messrs. Follansbee and Winn at Juarez, the contractors had made a trip to Los Angeles and inspected the Santa Anita track, and the plan of that ideal racing plant has been adopted for Juarez, with practically no change.
