Horsemen stabling at Sheepshead I!ay ami Gravesend are considerably aroused over an announcement of the Long island Railroad that during the coming meeting of the Westchester Association the cost of shipping horses to and from Belmont Park will be 0 per head instead of . The effect of the advance will bo the transfer of many strings from the old tracks to the new one. It will be cheaper for horsemen to train at Itelmont Park than to pay shipping bills. The Itelmont Park track is within easy walking distance of both Aqueduct and Jamaica, where meetings will follow tiiat of the Westchester Association.
