PENSAC0LA HAS INTERNAL DISSENSION. Pensacola. Fla.. April 3. — Threatening weather aycotiiittd for a big slump in the attendance this afternoon, made speculation stagnant, and the sport. already terete of feature, uninteresting. The management, because of prevailing conditions, incurred the biggest lows of the nni-ting. Several more days of a similar kind will cause a s|reedy abandonment of the racing here. That the association is. however, sanguine of ultimate success, is evidenced by the fact that they made application this afternoon to the Southern jockey Club for an extension of twelve days of racing. The original allotment ends next Thursday. Internal dissension, caused by W. If. Bickers meddlesome taetiis. is rife and in all probability whatever interest he may have in the plant will be haaffht by Messrs. Koiiprich ainr Miildleton. Tiiey refuse to give Bickers a Voice in the management and unless he iiositively remains in the background the in. m ting may tie alraiulo-wi!. Pickers lieeaine involved in an alteration with a race follower last night and was arrested, but the case was mil prossed this morning. Bickers is willing la sell his interest iu the track, but at a rather exorbitant figure. The Pens-imla people yvant to see the meeting carried on. anil are willing to siipirort liberally a meeting of good class. Jockey Irvins faulty ride on Dnnvegan and his escape with a reprimand was the chief incident attending tlw racing this afternoon. Because of many withdrawals the original third race* was declared off and another race substituted.
