NEIL GOW IN THRIVING CONDITION. 1 have st en a g 1 deal of- Xeil Cow lately since getiing to better work alongside tte Ditch, ami I consider that he could not possibly have done better. lie has grown into a very line horse, although iu-t a little on rh- leg. perhaps; but he has beautiful, strong ipiartent, back and Bbboldera, and with a little mare boae below- tin- knee he would be well-nigh perfect of his type. That he is a good hois.- is certain, antl if he fails Io win the chief classic events it will be through temper. lie has beea a little Lit funny lately, ami after cantering on Wt ilnes-il.-ty he showed by slight attempts at rearing and timing round that he was not going hack until be wish-.l. As he gels into stronger work and becomes thoroughly tit. this may disappear, though there is a chance, on the other hand, that he may get w.rse after a rare. Xeil GOV is a big horse, with a line, long stride, and if he only gets off it will take a real good three-year-old to beat him. — "Wariin Hill" in Sporting Life.
