The latter came through fast on the inside and almost got up to win. POLLY LEE showed the most speed for live furlongs, then tired. NARNOC J. V. JR. showed speed in s|m.s and is worth remembering. CRANIA broke with the others, but was outrun for the first half, then moved up steadily oil the far turn and easily disposed of THE GOLDEN BUTTERFLY in the homestretch. The latter outbroke the others and showed the most speed to the stretch, but finally tired under punishment. SPINDLE ran prominently and out-earned JOHN REARDON when it came to the final drive.
