FAIR DIRECTORS SEE THE DANGER. Sartatoga. N. Y. March 29. That tbe present restrictive racing legislation will put at least one county fair out or business was learned today when living W. Wiswall, president of the Saratoga County Agricultural Society, oue of the most flourishing iii the up-state district, stated that unless the personal liability law. is repealed he will resign. "I cannot afford to take chances of being sent to jail for acts of persons over whom I have no con-tiol," be said, "and I know of other officers of the society who feel the same as I do. Under the present law I doubt if there will be any fair held in this county this year." Under orders from President Wilson. Superintendent Reed Landers today stopped all preliminary- work at the Saratoga track, discharged all his assistants except a watchman and a foreman, and began negotiations to sell the working teams.
