BELMONT TRACK PITTED FOR TRAINING. New York. March 29. Superintendent William A. Gorman of Belmont Park has placed the starting barrier in position at the live-furlong post on the straightaway track. Thomas J. Healey, trainer for Richard T. Wilson, president of the Saratoga Association, lias schooled several of his two-year-olds at the barrier. Schooling will be the order o things av the big track from now on. The rails, furlong posts and timers stand have been replaced on the main track and trainers partial to it can now prepare their "charges over this course, as it is fast and perfectly safe.
